British Transport Police and Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be holding a series of meetings to listen to tube passengers' needs and priorities in the New Year.

As part of the Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings scheduled for January and February, members of the public will be given a chance to meet their local teams and put their issues on the agenda.

Popular children's entertainers, The Wiggles, will be making an exclusive return to an Acton cinema in the New Year.

The Vue Cinema will be running the new fun-filled show, 'Big, Big Show in the Round' on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2010 at 10am.

Motorists and customers are being urged to donate new toys and gifts to help disadvantaged children have a happy Christmas.

Renault West London on Concord Avenue, A40, is working with Barnardo Children's Charity to encourage people to donate gifts which will be delivered to them in time for Christmas.

People are invited to Acton Winter Fair on Saturday December 12 for an afternoon of carol singing, Christmas crafts and free face-painting.
