A disabled father had his face smashed in by bricks and was robbed at gunpoint as he sat in his car in Acton on Saturday evening.

Tarek Gotti, 33, had dropped off a friend at Larden Road, just off The Vale, and was about to lock the passenger door when a black man wearing a hoodie jumped in, demanding money as he pointed the gun in the frightened driver's face.

Acton newsagent raided

Thieves made off with a total of £3,000 in goods and cash after raiding a newsagent in Acton on Friday night.

Konti Newsagents at High Street, Acton, was targeted by thieves who broke the back door and stole cigarettes, cash and a mobile phone.

A pensioner has been evicted from his Acton home after making his neighbours' lives a misery.

The 65-year-old was ordered to leave his flat after complaints of threatening behaviour, noise nuisance and alleged drug-related issues came to light.

A man is being sought by Police after he poked another man in the left buttock with a penknife before fleeing the scene.

On Sunday November 15, a 28-year-old man was walking along Avenue Road when he was approached by the man and poked by the object but it was only when he went him he realised he had been hurt.

A mobile phone and Sat Nav were stolen from an Audi car parked in Park Royal on Valentine's Day.

Around £200 worth of damage was caused to the Audi 80 and a Sony Ericsson mobile and Tom Tom Sat Nav worth an estimated £300 were stolen from the glove compartment.

Turnham Green Station assault

A man sustained injuries to his side from an umbrella as he stood at a station platform on Thursday evening.

Police were called to the westbound platform at Turnham Green Tube Station at 6pm on Thursday February 4.


Park Royal landlords fined

A couple of rogue landlords have been ordered to pay nearly £30,000 for allowing their tenants to live in squalid and dangerous conditions.

Das Lal and Hussein Ibrahim, who own and manage five privately rented bedsits in Park Avenue, Park Royal, allowed their tenants to live with rat infestations as well as weeks of problems with their hot water, heating and electricity supply.

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an incident which left a man with knife wounds in Acton at the beginning of the year.

A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old from West London were arrested but police are still appealing for information.


A man was stabbed twice in his chest on Thursday morning as he got into his car after scraping snow from the windscreen.

The 36-year-old Asian man walked to his car in Shakespeare Road, Acton, just after 7am and noticed a man near him as he was getting into his car.

A pensioner was found with injuries to his face after an intruder broke into his house in St Anne's Gardens in Park Royal last week.

A member of the public called the police after hearing loud noises and seeing signs of forced entry to the home at 11:35pm on Wednesday September 30.
