Meet Ealing & Acton police teams
British Transport Police and Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be holding a series of meetings to listen to tube passengers' needs and priorities in the New Year.
As part of the Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings scheduled for January and February, members of the public will be given a chance to meet their local teams and put their issues on the agenda.
BTP Chief Inspector Paul Wilson said: "With violence decreasing every year for the past four years the Tube is a very safe way to travel but we recognise that the public may have concerns they wish to talk to us about.
"PACT meetings give Tube passengers an opportunity to put their issues on our radar and I think the start of 2010 is a perfect opportunity.
"Hearing directly from the community about what they need and want in terms of policing the Tube is vital to us delivering the best possible service."
The next PACT meeting covering the Piccadilly line Tube stations in Ealing will be on Thursday 28 January at 1 pm.
The meeting will be in the second floor conference room at Bollo House, 270 Bollo Lane, Acton, W3 8PL.
BTP Sgt. Ritu Thapar, who heads the Piccadilly Line North West NPT, said: "I am encouraging all local residents who use the Piccadilly line stations between South Harrow and Boston Manor to come along and let us know any issues and concerns they may have.
"The meeting will be an opportunity for passengers to have a chat with our team.
"Passengers can ask us any questions they feel they want to ask, and if they can't make the meeting, they can always contact us via email."
Anyone who is unable to attend but would like to share comments can email the Piccadilly Line North West NPT at Piccadillylinenorthwest.npt@btp.pnn.police.uk.
