Light up and raise money for cancer care

Posted by Jane Harrison on Dec 7, 09 03:22 PM in Good Causes

Readers asked to sponsor a light on a Christmas tree in memory of a loved one to raise more money for Marie Curie Cancer Care appeal.

The appeal, which has raised over £40,000 so far, was launched by the charity and Ealing Gazette in July to raise money locally to boost nursing care for people with cancer and other terminal illnesses in the borough. Around £170,000 is needed.
The Lights to Remember event is being held in Acton market place (next to Morrisons) next Saturday (19) from 4.30pm, where people can sponsor a light by making a small donation to the appeal.

We'd like to hear from you.
