Fire in Park Royal

An industrial unit was nearly burnt to the ground following a fire just after 1am on Wednesday.

Around 20 firefighters and four fire engines were called to the blaze at a single storey industrial unit on Gorst Road, Park Royal.

A car parked just outside the unit was badly damaged and most of the industrial unit could not be saved.

The Brigade was called at 1:02am and the fire was under control by 4:19am.

Firefighters from Park Royal, Willesden and Acton fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
