Community drama group stages US plays

A DOUBLE bill of plays by highly-acclaimed US playwright David Mamet begins in Acton this Frday (November 6) and will run throughout the month.

Sturdy Beggars Group presents 'Dark Pony' and 'Reunion', one-act plays directed by Jack O'Connor and Mark Shaer at Acton Community Theatre, West London Trades Union Club, 33/35 High Street, Acton.

'Dark Pony' tells the tale of a native American legend. 'Reunion' is set in the 1970s and concerns a World War II veteran's reunion with his daughter.

The production takes place on November 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28 at 8pm.
