Ealing has scooped the silver-gilt award for the first time in the large city category at the London in Bloom awards.

The borough is also celebrating winning third place in the best allotment division for Framfield Allotments in Hanwell.

Poets Corner in Acton, scooped second place in the community garden award category.
Councillor Phil Taylor, Cabinet Member for Customer and Community Services, said: "This is a great accomplishment for Ealing.

"We live in one of the greenest, leafiest London boroughs and we work hard to keep it this way.

"Well done to everyone involved in helping to win these awards."

We'd like to hear from you.
