Cast your vote for healthy kids in Acton

Posted by Dan Hodges on Aug 7, 09 04:54 PM in Clubs/societies

A cookery workshop for Acton kids could be in line to win £2,000 - but it needs our readers to make their votes count.

Care and support cookery workshops run by the Kids' Cookery School have made it into the top three education projects in the National Lottery Awards, and there is one week of voting left to decide the winner.

The Gunnersbury Lane school works to improve the skills, diets and lifestyles of young people aged eight to 14 by offering hands-on kitchen experience with professional chefs, cooking up healthy dishes from scratch.

To vote for the project, call 0844 686 8015 before midday on Friday, August 14.

We'd like to hear from you.
