Acton Station Enters 'Underground in Bloom'

Five stations across the borough have entered this year's 'Underground in Bloom' gardening competition.

Staff from Ealing Broadway, Greenford, West Acton, Northolt and Northfields station have been planting flowers in their spare time and hope their handiwork will help make travelling more pleasant for passengers.

Almost a quarter of stations, train depots and service control rooms across the network have entered and judging will take place between July 27 and August 7.

Winners will be announced on September 10.
