Acton Fire Crew Battle Church Blaze

Fire crews from Acton attended a blaze at a Church in Shepherd's Bush in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Four Fire engines and 20 firefighters from Acton, Hammersmith and Chiswick were called to the blaze at the two storey St Saviours Church of England on Cobbold Road.

One man was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service and the fire caused some damage to the first floor of the Church.

The crews were called at 12:34am and the fire was under control by 3:09am.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
