Acton Man Murder Charge

A man is due to appear before the Old Bailey charged with the murder of Garry Frater on Saturday May 30.

Jake Lee, 21, of Heathfield Road, Acton, appeared before Ealing Magistrates' Court accused of running over and killing the 32-year-old father in De Havilland Road, Edgware.

It is believed Mr Frater was returning home from a night out in Watford before the incident which left him with severe internal injuries.

Mr Lee remains in custody until the hearing on September 8.
