Old Actonians stage England v Italy tournament

Acton.jpgOld Actonians Youth Football Club have hosted a mini-tournament to play the U10s/U13s Italian teams.

Visitors from the Scuola Calcio Federale FIGC (Catania Grassroots Football Academy) arrived in their Italian colours from Sicily and played in the tournament on Monday April 6.

Both sides fielding four teams and efforts were made to give it an England vs Italy feel with some England shirts, flags and national anthems.

A great event occurred that included the Italian MP Roberto Commercio among the guests.
