AGE-related Macular Degeneration Awareness Evening in Acton

GPs, optometrists and commissioners are invited to attend an age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) awareness evening.


In light of the new therapies for wet AMD, an eye disease which affects people over 50, information on accessing the service and presentations on signs and symptoms, risk factors, diet, treatments and trials will be given.

The information evening which will see Dawn Butler attend, will take place at Central Middlesex Hospital, Acton Lane, NW10 7NS in the Avery Jones Postgraduate centre from 6-8pm on Wednesday April 29.
