New store creates 80 jobs

A new Tesco Metro store opening in Acton next week has created 80 jobs which have been filled through local advertising.

The 10,000 sq ft store in The Vale will open its doors for the first time at 8am on Monday (22) with the official launch following at 10am.

Manager Emma Galloway said: "The quality of applicants was fantastic. We recruited through the local job centre and I am delighted with my new team.

"We are excited about welcoming customers to their new store and hope that they are pleased with it."

The store has a 30 space car park and will open from 7am to 11pm on week days, 7am to 10pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
