Crossrail plans in Acton

Details of the multi-billion pound Crossrail project will go on display in a one-day exhibition at Acton Library this week.

Experts will be on hand between 12pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday (17) to talk about the details of the scheme, which will provide a high speed link from Acton Main Line station to central and east London.

Corporate affairs director Clinton Leeks said: "We want to keep Londoners informed about the Crossrail project at every step of its delivery. This exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to find out more and talk to the experts who will be constructing the scheme."

Leaflets are being posted through letterboxes around Acton to tie in with the exhibition.
